The Bioremediation LINK Programme

The Bioremediation LINK programme was launched in April 2001 to support the development of technologies that will provide UK industry with the multidisciplinary capability necessary to enable the commercial exploitation of biotechnology for the clean up of contaminated land, air and water.

Our task was initially to apply small changes to the display and organisation of the site's content. We were then asked to make the LINK website, based on open source content management system (CMS), independent of web browsers used by the readers. We achieved this mainly by editing cascading style sheets (CSS). Thanks to our work the site displays correctly in almost all modern browsers.
